Tony W. Wilson has extensive work experience in the field of neuroscience and research. Tony W. is currently serving as the Director of the Institute for Human Neuroscience at Boys Town National Research Hospital since January 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Neurological Sciences at the University of Nebraska Medical Center from July 2014 to January 2021. Before that, they worked as an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Pharmacology & Experimental Neuroscience and Neurological Sciences at the University of Nebraska Medical Center from 2009 to 2014. Wilson also served as an Assistant Professor and MEG Scientist in the Department of Neurology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine from 2008 to 2009.
Tony W. Wilson completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology and Biology from Midwestern State University from 1998 to 2001. Tony W. then pursued their PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Minnesota, graduating in 2005. After their PhD, Tony W. Wilson joined the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus from 2005 to 2008 as a Post-doctoral Fellow, specializing in Clinical Cognitive Neuroscience.
