Abhijeet Kumar

Abhijeet Kumar is a Well Planning Geophysicist at bp since September 2025, previously serving as a Senior Geophysicist at Cairn Oil and Gas from October 2020 to September 2025, where contributions included well trajectory planning and the interpretation of geological features in unconventional reservoirs. Prior experience includes roles as a Geophysicist and Summer Intern at Cairn Oil and Gas, and a Summer Trainee at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd, where skills in seismic data acquisition and processing were developed. Abhijeet also served as the Events Head and Core Organizing Team member for Spring Fest, showcasing leadership in enhancing event participation and corporate sponsorship. Abhijeet holds an Integrated Master of Science (MSc) in Exploration Geophysics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, obtained in 2020.
