Andrea Kunkel

Andrea Kunkel is a Senior Counsel at BP, where they focus on energy trading involving natural gas, power, and financial products. They have been with BP since 2007, following their role as Managing Counsel at Oxy from 2001 to 2007, where they specialized in energy trading. Andrea's earlier career includes positions at Compaq Computer Corporation, where they served as Senior Counsel for venture capital investments, and multiple associate roles at Verner, Liipfert, Bernhardt, McPherson and Hand, Chartered and Weil Gotshal and Manges. They hold a Doctor of Law (JD) from Vanderbilt University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University, along with an MBA in International Business from the University of St. Thomas in Texas.
