Anthony McCarey

Anthony McCarey is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the maritime industry, currently serving as a Technology and Projects Manager at bp since January 2016. In this role, Anthony oversees the project management of re-fits and dockings for BP fleet vessels, ensuring compliance with internal and Classification Society requirements. Prior to this, Anthony held various positions at Lloyd's Register from September 2010 to December 2015, including Marine Surveyor where responsibilities encompassed new construction surveying and statutory certification for a series of vessels. Anthony began a career as an Engineering Apprentice at Nene Overland, gaining foundational skills in mechanical engineering. Anthony holds a Master of Engineering degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Newcastle University, completed in 2010.
