Dr. Stefanie Figge-Wegener

Dr. Stefanie Figge-Wegener serves as the Sustainability Projects and Technology Manager at WEPA since August 2023. Prior to this role, Dr. Figge-Wegener was the Product Development Manager at Novihum Technologies from March 2021 to August 2023. Experience at K+S Minerals and Agriculture GmbH included positions as Innovation Manager in AgTech and Nutrition and Product Manager for Water Soluble Fertilizer from May 2017 to March 2021. Academic credentials include a doctorate in Biology from Leibniz Universität Hannover, where research focused on plant carbon transport mechanisms during arbuscular mycorrhizal symbiosis, along with a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Plant Biotechnology from the same institution. Recent professional development involved obtaining an IHK certified degree in Change Management from Studiengemeinschaft Darmstadt GmbH.
