Emeka Emembolu

Emeka Emembolu has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Executive Vice President of Technology at bp since September 1998. Emeka's career at bp includes pivotal roles such as Chief of Staff, Senior Vice President for North Sea operations, and various Vice President positions focused on Reservoir Development across regions including the Gulf of Mexico, Canada, and North Africa. Earlier roles included management and engineering positions in bp's Alaskan operations and reservoir engineering in Angola and the North Sea. Emeka began professional development with a summer internship at Shell in 1997 and holds a Master of Engineering degree in Chemical Process Engineering with Biotechnology from The University of Sheffield, earned in 1998.
