Ernesto Moran

Ernesto Moran is a seasoned Consulting Operations Geologist with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently at bp since July 2011, Ernesto focuses on planning, coordination, quality control, data reporting, and regulatory compliance related to geologic operations. Previous roles include serving as a Consulting Geological Operations and PPFG Advisor at Occidental and as a Consulting Operations Geologist at Hess Corporation, where responsibilities included geologic operations for dual drillships in the Deepwater Gulf of Mexico. Additional experience includes working as a Lead Wellsite Geologist at ConocoPhillips. Ernesto holds a Master of Geoscience in Hydrogeology and a Bachelor of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
