Holly Thornton

Holly Thornton is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and Member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (MIMechE) with extensive experience in the engineering sector. Currently serving as the TAR Strategy Lead at bp since September 2022, Holly previously worked at INEOS as the TAR Scope Optimisation Lead and Senior Mechanical Engineer, managing a team to enhance the performance of Acetyls plants and delivering significant capital improvements. Holly’s career at bp began in 2012, progressing through various roles including Reliability Accelerator Programme Manager and Mechanical Engineer, after completing a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Leeds in 2012.
