Jason Spafford

Jason Spafford is a seasoned finance and operations professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as the Renewable Natural Gas - Operations Business Manager at bp since May 2016, Jason spearheads operational initiatives. Previously, as Regional Finance Lead at BP Energy Company from June 2011 to February 2015, Jason directed financial activities for commercial gas marketing teams with annual sales between $150MM and $300MM. Jason has also held roles such as Gas Settlements Manager at BP Energy Company and Wasatch Energy LLC, overseeing a team dedicated to settlement and product control. Earlier in the career, Jason was Finance Manager at Pharmaceutical Research Organization LLC, managing comprehensive financial functions and supporting business growth, and worked as Senior Cost Accountant at Gateway Corporation, where process improvements significantly enhanced inventory accuracy. Jason holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Utah and an MBA in Business Administration from Utah State University.
