Jeff Swartz is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in low carbon strategy, climate policy, and regulatory affairs. Currently serving as the Vice President of Low Carbon Strategy, Regulatory Affairs & Partnerships at bp, Jeff leads initiatives on low carbon strategies and strategic partnerships. Previous roles include Director of Climate at bp, Board Member at the Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market, and Director of Climate Policy and Carbon Markets at South Pole. Jeff's background includes significant positions such as Managing Director at the International Emissions Trading Association, where efforts contributed to securing Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, and consultant roles focused on managing carbon project portfolios and advocating for clean energy initiatives. Jeff holds two Bachelor’s degrees in International Relations and Chinese Language and Literature, as well as a Master’s degree in International Environmental Policy from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey.
