Jian Jiao

Jian Jiao is currently the Head of Data Engineering and Data Management at bp, overseeing role definition, performance review, promotions, training, and best practices in the field. Prior to this, Jian served as a Principal Data Engineer in the Data & Analytics Centre of Excellence at bp, collaborating on data strategies with various business teams. Jian's earlier experience includes positions as an Engineering Manager and Staff Engineer at Google, where leadership in digital transformation for Data Center Operations was a key focus. Jian also worked as a Senior Applications Engineer at Oracle. Jian holds a Master’s degree in Information System Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Management from Beihang University.
