Luis Alejandro Gonzalez is an accomplished drilling engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as the Lead Drilling Engineer at bp since March 2022, Luis has previously held significant positions including Drilling Engineering Team Lead at Repsol and various roles at Marathon Oil Corporation, where responsibilities included Advanced Senior Planning Analyst, Advanced Senior Completions Engineer, Drilling Manager, and Senior Drilling Engineer. Prior to that, experience also includes positions at Oxy, Chevron, and Schlumberger. Luis holds a degree in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from West Virginia University, earned between 1998 and 2001.
