Matthew Blackett

Matthew Blackett is a strategic project management and controls leader with over 20 years of experience in the energy sector, including nuclear, oil & gas, and energy transition. Currently, Blackett serves as the Project Management - Planning and Integration Manager for bp, focusing on the bp Daedalus Programme. Previously, Blackett held various roles within bp, leading multidisciplinary teams and managing significant projects in Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkey. Blackett began their career at Doosan Babcock, working across nuclear power stations in the UK before advancing their education with a Master of Science in Project Management from Northumbria University.
