Mayra Alejandra Olmedo Pinto

Mayra Alejandra Olmedo Pinto is an experienced professional in the energy and petroleum sectors. Currently serving as a Glights Trading Operator at bp since April 2019, Mayra manages barge operations for Naphtha and schedules shipments for Gasoline, Naphtha, and Diesel. Prior to bp, Mayra worked as a Commercial Analyst at Acro Service Corp, where responsibilities included developing price sets for financial forecasting. Mayra also held various roles at PDVSA Petroleos de Venezuela S.A. from 2005 to 2017, including Trader of South America and Coordinator of Energy Agreements with Ecuador, focusing on refined product exchanges and hydrocarbon sales negotiations. Mayra began a career in the industry as a Quality Assurance Supervisor and has a degree in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Hydrocarbon Marketing from Universidad Central de Venezuela.
