Omer Zeyrek

Omer Zeyrek is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in leading financial operations and transformation initiatives within the energy and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Finance for the Castrol VRP Transformation Programme at bp, Omer is instrumental in driving a global initiative aimed at achieving $1.7 billion in profit by 2025. Previous roles at bp include Head of Financial Planning & Analysis for BP Shipping, where Omer contributed to a $200 million annual improvement in profitability, and Global Financial Controller for Global Marine & Energy Lubricants, ensuring financial integrity and compliance. Omer's earlier experience at Xerox involved overseeing financial reporting and analysis for substantial divisions, managing acquisition integrations, and leading SAP implementation efforts across Europe. Omer holds an MBA in International Finance from Heriot-Watt University and a BSc in Industrial Engineering from Boğaziçi University.
