Philip Bunting

Philip Bunting has over 13 years of experience as a geologist, contributing to projects across 15 basins in five countries, specializing in onshore shale gas, new wells delivery, reservoir development, and deep water exploration. Currently a Senior Exploration Geologist at BP, Philip leads an agile team focused on exploration projects in Argentina and has significant international experience in Canada and Brazil. Philip began their career with internships and roles that laid the foundation for expertise in seismic interpretation and prospect maturation, demonstrating a commitment to mentoring junior staff and delivering high-quality results. They hold a Master's degree in Geology from Texas Christian University and a Bachelor's degree from Bucknell University.
