Rehan Naqvi

Rehan Naqvi is an accomplished professional in the field of engineering, specializing in Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS). Currently serving as a Process Lead Engineer at bp since September 2023, Rehan previously held the position of Senior Technical Adviser at KBR, Inc. from March 2022 to September 2023. With a solid background at Shell from 2007 to 2012, Rehan's roles included Senior Process Engineer and project management positions. Rehan also gained valuable experience as a Process Engineer at the Technology Centre Mongstad and engaged in research at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, culminating in a PhD focused on thermal power generation with CO2 capture. Academically, Rehan holds a PhD in Energy and Process Engineering from NTNU, an MSc in Sustainable Energy Engineering from KTH, and other qualifications in journalism, cricket coaching, and international relations.
