Richard Saenz

Richard Saenz is a seasoned human resources executive with extensive experience in driving results for global companies across various sectors, including energy and hospitality. Currently serving as the VP of DE&I and People & Culture for BP America, Saenz is responsible for global diversity, equity, and inclusion delivery, as well as country integration in the U.S., and is a member of the BP America Board of Directors. Previously, they held multiple senior HR leadership roles at bp, including overseeing strategic people initiatives for large teams and serving as the Executive Sponsor for the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. Saenz’s career began as a professional football player before transitioning into HR, earning a Bachelor of Science in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University.
