Rory Barbour

Rory Barbour is an experienced professional in the petroleum engineering field, currently serving as Strategy and Integration Manager at bp since January 2013, where responsibilities include integrating the Long Term Development Plan for Rumaila. Previous roles include Production Manager, overseeing a multi-cultural team and managing production forecasting and performance at bp, as well as various petroleum engineering positions in Iraq involving well management, production optimization, and operational efficiency in complex reservoir environments. Rory's early career included internships with bp and Chevron, focused on reservoir engineering and modeling, underpinned by a BEng in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Leeds and an MSc from Heriot-Watt University.
