Tagir Khabibullin

Tagir Khabibullin is a seasoned Reservoir Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently working at bp since May 2025 on North Sea Deepwater projects. Prior to this role, Tagir held positions at DeGolyer and MacNaughton, focusing on reservoir simulation and field development optimization from May 2016 to February 2025. As a Senior Reservoir Engineer at JV Rosneft- Eni from February 2014 to April 2016, Tagir managed reserves estimation and production profiling for deepwater projects in the Black Sea and Barents Sea. Previous roles include Reservoir Engineer positions at Rosneft-Exploration and Schlumberger, where Tagir performed well test design and PVT analysis. Tagir began the career as an Assistant Reservoir Engineer at Rosneft-STC and had early experience as a Gas Production Operator at Gazprom. Tagir holds a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University and a five-year higher education degree in Petroleum Engineering from Ufa State Petroleum Technological University.
