Waleed Hassan, PhD, is an Operations General Manager at BP with 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Waleed began their career as Corrosion and Inspection Section Head at GUPCO before serving as Integrity Management Manager and Technical Authority at UGDC. Waleed's expertise lies in the safe and efficient operations of onshore, offshore, and subsea facilities, having spent 2.5 years in BP operations in Azerbaijan. Currently participating in BP's Leading in Operations training program as a Senior Operations Leader, Waleed is dedicated to continuous improvement and effective communication at a strategic level. Waleed earned a Ph.D. in Corrosion Engineering from Cairo University.
