Zaur Pashayev is the Vice President of Safety and Operation Risk Assurance for the AGT and AsPac regions at bp, bringing 22 years of experience in operational leadership roles within the company. Since August 2016, Zaur has been responsible for the safe and efficient operation of key marine terminals and oil and gas export pipelines across Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkey, overseeing a workforce of over 3,000. Zaur's previous positions include Area Operations Manager for both Sangachal terminal and Shah Deniz offshore gas field, as well as Offshore Installation Manager at the Chirag platform. Zaur holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Azerbaijan State Oil Academy and has pursued further education at both MIT Sloan School of Management and London Business School.
