Alexandre Lekina

Alexandre LEKINA, PhD, P.Stat., serves as a Senior Statistics and Evaluation Officer at Bpifrance since 2017, specializing in statistics, economics, econometrics, and policy studies. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Scientist at VEDECOM, focusing on sustainable mobility, and a Research Professional at ESG UQAM, where Alexandre developed a microsimulation model to assess healthcare impacts on public finances for Quebec's aging population. Alexandre has also worked as a part-time lecturer at HEC Montréal and held research positions at INRS, INRIA, and various universities, concentrating on statistical modeling and analysis across diverse fields including risk management and finance. Academically, Alexandre holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Université Joseph Fourier and a P.Stat. designation from the Statistical Society of Canada, complemented by several degrees in mathematics, statistics, and computer science.
