YI LUO is a seasoned research scientist with extensive experience in AAV production and purification, currently employed at BPS Bioscience Inc. since November 2021. At BPS Bioscience Inc., YI LUO has established methods for both adherent and suspension cell culture production of AAV, achieving purification levels exceeding 95%, and has contributed to the development of both off-the-shelf and customized AAV products. Prior experience includes positions as a Senior Research Associate and Postdoc Research Associate at UT Southwestern Medical Center, and Postdoc Research Associate at Meharry Medical College. YI LUO also served as a Research Assistant at the University of Florida. YI LUO holds a PhD in Microbiological and Biochemical Pharmacy from Jilin University, awarded in 2009.
