Sara Menéndez Cotarelo

Sara Menéndez Cotarelo has a diverse work history. In 2022, they worked as a Sales and Marketing Manager at Bioquochem (BQC redox technologies). Prior to that, they worked for six years at The Princess of Asturias Foundation in a support role from 2016 to 2022. Sara also gained experience at the Institute of Oncology and Molecular Medicine of Asturias (IMOMA) as a Medical and Scientific Communications Assistant from January to August 2022. Sara was a trainee and student trainee at IMOMA from 2021 to 2022. In 2018, they briefly worked in clinical analysis for the Ministry of Culture and Sport. Additionally, they worked as a hostess at Neozink in 2017.

Sara Menéndez Cotarelo's education history begins in 2015 when they attended the Universidad de Oviedo to pursue a degree in Biology, which they completed in 2019. Following their undergraduate studies, they furthered their education at the same university by enrolling in the Máster en Biotecnología del Medio Ambiente y la Salud (Master's in Biotechnology of Environment and Health) program, which they undertook from 2020 to 2022.

In addition to their academic pursuits, Sara has also obtained various certifications and attended training programs. In 2017, they completed a course on Bioeconomy at the Universidad de Oviedo. In 2021, they participated in the International Mentoring Program organized by Compromiso Asturias XXI. In 2022, they obtained certifications in Careers in Science from IMFAHE and in Genomic Medicine in Oncology and its Clinical Applications from Genotipia. Lastly, in 2020, they completed a program on Digital Skills for Professionals offered by the Santa María la Real Foundation of Cultural Heritage.
