Melanie Davids

Melanie Davids is a dedicated student investor at B&R Beurs Erasmus Investment Society since September 2023, with a diverse background in finance and education. Previously, Melanie participated in a business course at IMC Trading and served as an ambassador for Female x Finance. Experience includes roles in global asset allocation at ABN AMRO MeesPierson, commodity trade analysis at Nedstar, and team leadership in investment management at Vinvested. Melanie has contributed to academia as a course development assistant at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, where work focused on aligning courses with ASA and FSA requirements, and has served as a student mentor and teaching assistant. Recognized for critical decision-making in finance, Melanie has participated in exclusive courses and events, including a London banking tour and winning a market-making competition. Melanie is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Quantitative Finance at Erasmus University Rotterdam after earning a Bachelor's degree in Econometrics from the University of Groningen.
