Employment Type: Temp to Perm / Full Time

Location:  Remote or option to work from Edinburgh office

BR-DGE is going through an exciting period of growth and to fuel this we are looking for a Management Accountant, to help build out our Finance team.

What you’ll be doing:

Assisting with all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the Finance team including:

·      Preparation of Monthy Management accounts including variance analysis and commentary

·      Preparation / update of monthly budgets files and forecast

·      Reconciliation of Balance Sheet

·      Production of weekly cashflow reporting and forecasting

·      Analysis of Aged Creditors and Debtors

·      Preparation of Weekly payment run

·      Assisting with the audit and R&D tax reclaim

·      Submission of annual ERS (employment related securities)

·      Signing off /approving expenses and tech allowances

·      Maintaining finance related software & portals (Approval Max, Dext, Remote, WeWork, Travel Perk, BambooHR, etc.)

·      Assisting in producing a monthly Board Pack

·      Contribution to the annual budgeting process and regular reforecasting during the year if and when required

·      contribution to the continued development of financial systems and processes to ensure they continue to meet the needs of a growing business

·      Other ad-hoc project and responsibilities

What we’re looking for:

As a scale up business in a fast-moving industry we are really looking for someone who wants to get in at the start of the business journey and be hands-on with all aspects of the Finance function.  It is an amazing opportunity to get into a business that offers huge scope for your own development, aswell as the opportunity to make a difference!

The skills we are looking for include:

·      A part qualified / newly qualified accountant

·      Experience of Xero and all Microsoft products

·      Experience of running payroll

·      Experience in a fast-moving SME

·      Experience of working in a small team and the ability to quickly get up to speed with the operations of the business

·      Ability to work on own initiative, to suggest improvements and to take the lead on driving things forward.

·      Knowledge and understanding of the payments industry.

·      Background in a FinTech start-up/scale up environment.

·       Salary up to £45-50k per annum (dependent on experience).
