Martin Zimmermann

Martin Zimmermann has extensive experience in engineering and sales support within the automation and packaging sectors. Currently serving as a Sales Support Engineer at B&R Industrial Automation since January 2021, Martin previously worked as a Field Application Engineer and Key Account Manager at Kollmorgen, where responsibilities included technical support for customers and sales partners, conducting training, and managing key accounts. Martin's career began at Bosch Packaging Systems AG and Bosch Packaging Systems, progressing from an Inbetriebsetzungsingenieur to the role of Stellvertretender Leiter Elektromontage/Inbetriebsetzung, overseeing large project installations and staff training. Early experience includes positions at DiAX and Siemens, with a strong educational foundation in Automation Management and Electrical Engineering from Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz Windisch and Zürcher Fachhochschule Winterthur, respectively.
