Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative educational technology solutions. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has contributed to the development of hardware for innovative DViT (Digital Vision Touch) interactive whiteboards and various educational devices. Previous experience includes roles as a firmware engineer at SMART Technologies, where Chris developed firmware and diagnostic tools, and as an electronics contractor for the Science Alberta Foundation, responsible for designing and repairing educational devices. Teaching assistant experience at the University of Calgary included conducting labs and grading assignments. Chris also worked as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, focusing on control systems for forestry equipment. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
