Andrew Clarke

Andrew Clarke is a highly experienced arts professional, currently serving as a Board Member for IndieSpace NYC since May 2022, where advocacy for independent theater-making is emphasized. Andrew is the Founder and Executive Director of Braata Productions, overseeing daily operations and strategic planning since January 2009. Additionally, Andrew holds the roles of Founder and Artistic Director of the Braata Folk Singers and Producer for the Braata Theatre Workshop, managing production aspects and ensuring the execution of shows. Andrew also leads Braata Education & Outreach as Manager. Past experiences include the role of Entertainment Coordinator at Sandals Montego Bay and Performer for Grenada Caribbean Solidarity Nights from 2013 to 2014. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Brooklyn College and further education in Theatre Arts from Edna Manley College and Queensborough Community College.
