Fredrik Matseng serves as Group COO and CEO of Braathens International Airways and Braathens Regional Airways since November 2020, where Fredrik holds the positions of CEO and Accountable Manager. Previous experience includes roles as VP Technical Operations at NAVBLUE, focusing on post-merger integration, and COO at Aviolinx, overseeing the development of an advanced airline management system. Fredrik's career with TUI spanned nearly a decade, during which responsibilities included Head of Customer Delivery & Operations and Head of Procurement, Airports & Customer Operations. Earlier experience includes roles at Ryanair and Scandinavian Airlines System, where Fredrik managed aircraft maintenance and engineering. Educational qualifications comprise an Executive Management Program from Stockholm School of Economics, a Mini MBA in Procurement Leadership, and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Flygteknik Technical Training Nyköping.
