Gijs Lathouwers has an extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Gijs started their career at Flexovit Abrasives South Africa in 1995 as an Operations Manager. Gijs then joined St Gobain Gelva in 1998 as an Operations Manager before moving on to Nedschroef Weert BV in 2001 where they served as the Managing Director. In 2006, they became the Managing Director of Nedschroef Helmond BV. From 2007 to 2014, they worked as the Vice President at Nedschroef. In 2014, they joined VDL Nedcar as the Factory Project Manager MINI Countryman and later became the General Manager Quality. In 2016, they joined Brabantia as the COO and held this position until 2021. In 2022, they briefly served as the Managing Director a.i. at Brabantia before returning to their role as the COO.
Gijs Lathouwers completed their Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology from 1985 to 1991. In 2004, they attended INSEAD for a program in International Executive Education and again in 2013 for the IN-BOARD program.
