Afm Shahidur Rahman

AFM Shahidur Rahman serves as the Director of Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) and Risk Management Services at BRAC since September 2019, overseeing impactful strategies for 16 programs that reach over 70 million people. With extensive experience in program development and fundraising, AFM has led significant partnerships and initiatives, including a strategic transformation of BRAC’s Monitoring department. Previously, AFM directed organizational transitions at CARE Bangladesh and coordinated the International Food Security Network at ActionAid, contributing to food security efforts across multiple continents. AFM's early career includes leadership roles at ActionAid Bangladesh across various sectors, coupled with solid educational credentials, including an MBA in Development Economics and an MSS in Economics.
