Khandaker Fokhrul Alam

Khandaker Fokhrul Alam currently serves as Project Lead at BRAC since formally taking on this role in September 2023, having previously managed responsibilities as Head of Resource Mobilisation & New Business Development. With extensive experience at BRAC, Khandaker has been a Senior Programme Manager in both the Programme Development Unit and the Community Empowerment Programme, contributing significantly to resource mobilization initiatives. Prior experience includes roles as a Climate Change and Finance Expert for DFID’s CFTM Project, a Coordinator for the USAID-funded Bagh Activity, and as Co-Founder of Readers For Readers (R4R). Khandaker's educational background includes an MBA in Accounting & Information Systems and an MSc in Climate Change and Development, underpinning a strong commitment to sustainable development and organizational capacity building.
