Mr. Paul Taylor has more than 25 years of experience in international management, operational, and programmatic leadership experience overseeing and implementing humanitarian and development programmes in West and East Africa, eastern Europe, and Asia. His expertise is in inclusive and collaborative leadership, strategic planning, risk identification and mitigation, public and private fundraising, statutory and donor compliance, cross-cultural representation, financial and operational management, crisis management, and multi-country oversight.
Prior to joining BRAC, Paul worked for the International Rescue Committee (IRC) for 23 years. Paul was IRC’s Regional Vice President for West Africa for 17 years, managing a diverse humanitarian and development portfolio in Libera, Sierra Leone, Cote d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Chad, and Cameroon. Paul also managed IRC’s programmes in Tanzania, Burundi, the Central African Republic, Haiti and Colombia during this period.
He holds a Master's degree in International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.
