S M Hasanuzzaman

S M Hasanuzzaman is a results-driven public health leader with over nine years of experience in health and nutrition programs across complex humanitarian settings. Currently, they lead BRAC’s Health & Nutrition Sector under the Humanitarian Crisis Management Programme in Cox’s Bazar, where they oversee integrated services for Rohingya refugees and host communities and advocate for health priorities in coordination platforms. Previously, they served in various roles, including Medical Doctor, Program Coordinator, and Public Health Officer, significantly contributing to emergency health responses and capacity building in multiple organizations. Hasanuzzaman holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Rajshahi University and further qualifications in global health and epidemiology.
