Sadna Samaranayake

Sadna Samaranayake serves as the Chief Strategy Officer at BRAC Global since April 2023, following a notable tenure at the World Bank where Samaranayake worked as a Senior Consultant for the Partnership for Economic Inclusion from January 2018 to April 2023. Prior to that, Samaranayake held the position of Senior Advisor and Director of the Ultra-Poor Graduation Advocacy Initiative at BRAC USA from October 2013 to November 2017. Samaranayake’s extensive experience includes roles as a Staff Writer for NextBillion.net, a Housing Specialist at the World Bank, a Consultant for Ashoka, and Founder and Managing Partner of InSiteLogic, Inc. Academically, Samaranayake holds a Master of Arts in Social Entrepreneurship and International Development from New York University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Communications and International Affairs from Lewis & Clark College.
