Carys Tavener

Carys Tavener is an accomplished event and production manager with extensive experience in managing cultural initiatives and festivals across the UK. Currently serving as the Senior Production and Event Manager for Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture, Carys played a significant role in spearheading events during her tenure as Head of Production for LEEDS 2023 and as Event Operations Manager for Coventry City of Culture Trust. With a background in community-based arts programming and practical logistical support at Hull UK City of Culture 2017, Carys has also contributed as a co-producer and manager for various theatrical projects, including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. A graduate of the University of Hull with a Bachelor's Degree in Drama and Theatre Practice, Carys's diverse skill set includes production management, budgeting, and creative writing.
