Miriam O'Keeffe

Miriam O'Keeffe is the Operations Director at Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture since December 2022, previously holding the position of Head of Operations. Prior to this, Miriam served as Administrative Lead at Leeds Church Institute from August 2018 to December 2022 and engaged in strategic communications and business development at WomenCentre in 2017, focusing on enhancing the organization's impact. Miriam has extensive experience at the BBC, where as Director of the BBC Performing Arts Fund, a corporate charity, granted £5.5 million to various sectors, and previously held roles as Project Manager, Coordinator, and Education and Events Officer. Early career experience includes roles at BAFTA, the World Summit on Television for Children, Penguin, and the Central Statistics Office, along with the Department of Health. Miriam completed the Clore Leadership Programme Short Course in 2011.
