Phil Batty Obe

Phil Batty OBE currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Glasgow 2026 and SKYMAGIC Drone Shows. In addition, Phil holds the position of Vice Chair of the Board Trustees and Chair of the Programme Sub-committee for Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture. Phil has been an Independent Member of the Policy, Impact, Influence & Evaluation Board Committee at Spirit of 2012 since October 2018. Phil's previous experience includes roles such as Group Chief Commercial Officer at NEWSUBSTANCE, Chief Operating Officer for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, and Executive Director for UNBOXED: Creativity in the UK. Additional past positions include Marketing and Communications Director with the London Borough of Waltham Forest, Interim Chief Operating Officer at The WOW Foundation, and Fundraising Consultant at Underbelly Limited.
