Independent Chair Education Alliance For Life Chances at Bradford Birth To 19

Anne-Marie Canning MBE serves as the Chief Executive Officer of The Brilliant Club and holds positions as the Independent Chair of the Education Alliance for Life Chances with Bradford Birth To 19, and as the Independent Chair of the Bradford Opportunity Area and Priority Education Investment Area at the Department for Education. Additionally, Anne-Marie co-chairs the Centre for Transforming Access and Student Outcomes in Higher Education and has previously worked as the Director of Social Mobility and Student Success and the Director of Widening Participation at King's College London. Education includes a BA Hons in English and Related Literatures from the University of York, and further studies at Birkbeck, University of London from 2017 to 2019.

Bradford Birth to 19 was established in 2013 at St Edmund’s Nursery School. We’re on a mission to utilise the latest research and practical experience to make social mobility a reality, both in Bradford and nationwide. We work in partnership with Bradford’s best schools, most inspirational teachers, the health sector, the school and university led research community, and local authorities, to discover and deliver innovative solutions to problems facing children and young people.
