Senior Public Health Specialist

Matt Orme is a skilled public health specialist with extensive experience in sports development and health promotion. Formerly a referee with The Football Association and a University Football Activator at the University of Huddersfield, Matt progressed to leadership positions, including Futsal Project Officer at Manchester FA and Youth Advisory Group Chairman for the West Riding County FA. Currently serving as a Senior Public Health Specialist with Bradford Council, Matt provides strategic and operational leadership for public health initiatives. Previous roles include Health Improvement Principal at Leeds City Council and Public Health Wellbeing Officer for the City of York Council, where Matt focused on enhancing community health through sustainable sports club development and public health programs. Matt holds a Master of Public Health from the University of York and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise, Physical Activity & Health from the University of Huddersfield.
