Chad Vanderroest

Chad VanderRoest has held several key roles in the field of engineering throughout their career. Starting in 2000 at Whirlpool Corporation, they served as a Senior Engineer, leading the development of high-efficiency dishwasher wash systems. Chad later became a Lead Engineer for Product Safety, providing support and consultation on safety evaluations and investigations.

In 2011, VanderRoest took on the role of Advanced Development Lead for Dishwashers at Whirlpool Corporation, leading teams focused on defining wash process models and presenting project work to various levels of the organization. In 2014, they were promoted to Senior Engineering Manager, responsible for global structures, aesthetics, and CAD teams for dishwashers, including coaching, budgeting, and long-range planning.

In 2017, VanderRoest joined Bradford White Corporation as the Chief Engineer for Advanced Development, providing technical leadership for new product development and manufacturing. Chad later became the Director of Engineering, leading the Advanced Development team, the Lab organization, and serving as the Chief Engineer for the Middleville design and manufacturing organizations.

Currently, VanderRoest holds the position of Senior Director of Engineering at Bradford White, responsible for leading the NPD, Lab, and Sustaining Engineering teams. Chad'sprimary responsibilities include collaborating with the executive team and senior leadership on product development roadmaps, resource planning, and budgeting.

Chad VanderRoest completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University from 1996 to 1999. Prior to that, they pursued undergraduate coursework in Mechanical Engineering at Central Michigan University from 1994 to 1996. In addition to their formal education, Chad obtained a certification in Six Sigma from Six Sigma Associates Incorporated in July 2008.
