Scott Barrows

Scott Barrows serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Emergency Medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and in the Grainger College of Engineering, HCESC, at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Additionally, Scott holds a Clinical Assistant Professor position in Biomedical Visualization at the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center, where Scott previously directed the graduate program in Biomedical Visualization. Other roles include Affiliate Faculty in Interactive Media/User Experience Design at Bradley University, and Director of the Innovation Design Lab at OSF Innovation. Scott has an extensive background in healthcare diagnostics, having held various leadership positions, including President at Medical Art Associates and Vice-President in biomarker research. Educational qualifications include multiple degrees in Medical Art and Educational Leadership from the University of Illinois, as well as a background in Biology and Pre-Medical Illustration.
