Richard Mercado

Richard Mercado is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in financial control and auditing. Currently serving as the Group Financial Controller at Bragg Gaming since July 2023, Richard previously held the position of Head of Group Reporting and Financial Control at The Rank Group plc from July 2021 to July 2023. Richard's early career included a significant tenure at BDO UK LLP, progressing from Assistant Manager to Senior Audit Manager between January 2018 and June 2021. Additionally, Richard worked at EY from 2010 to 2018, where roles included Assistant Manager, Audit Executive, and Senior Associate. Richard began professional career as an Associate Auditor at Uy Singson Abella & Co. Richard Mercado earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, completing studies in 2009.
