Drew Smithsimmons is an experienced professional in the fields of mental health and digital health, currently serving as Co-Founder and Director at Braided Communications since June 2017. Previous roles include Clinical Product Director at Oxford VR from October 2018 to September 2020, Clinical Lead at Ieso Digital Health from January 2014 to December 2019, and Principal Educator for Psychological Interventions at NHS Education for Scotland for a year in 2017. Drew's clinical background includes work as a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist at NHS Highland and as a Qualified Social Worker for Mental Health at both Renfrewshire Council and Glasgow City Council. Educational qualifications include an MA (Hons) in Social Anthropology with Development from The University of Edinburgh, a PgDip in Social Work from the University of Strathclyde, and a PgDip in Advanced Practice in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy from the University of Cumbria.
