Arianna Smith has a diverse work experience encompassing various roles and responsibilities. Starting in 2017, they worked as a Salesperson at Louise's Hallmark, providing excellent customer service and assisting customers with their purchases. In 2019, they became the Chair of Philanthropy for the Wells Quad Student Government, organizing philanthropic initiatives within the student community. Arianna also held positions in organizations such as Women in Stem LLC, where they served as a Student Advisory Council Officer, and Hutton Honors Council Association, where they were an Executive Officer and Co-President of Communication.
In 2019, Arianna also worked as an Undergraduate Neuroscience Research Assistant at The Mackie Lab, conducting research on the antibody characterization of the endocannabinoid enzyme, N-acylethanolamine Acid Amidase (NAAA). Additionally, they served as a Member of Alpha Xi Delta and a Vice President of External Affairs for the Brain Exercise Initiative.
In 2020, Arianna founded and became the President of The Mask Project at Indiana University, a student organization that volunteers with the Bloomington Mask Drive, providing handmade masks to the city of Bloomington and Monroe County during the Covid-19 pandemic. Arianna also worked as an Organic Chemistry 1 Undergraduate Teaching Assistant and assisted with Covid-19 on-arrival and mitigation testing at Indiana University Bloomington. Additionally, they worked as an Administrative Staff member for NWI Masks, aiding in the production, sorting, and administration of handmade mask donations to local institutions in need.
Throughout their work experience, Arianna demonstrated leadership skills, organizational abilities, and a commitment to community service and philanthropy.
Arianna Smith has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from Indiana University Bloomington, which they obtained between 2019 and 2023. Prior to that, they graduated from Crown Point High School in 2019 with a High School Diploma. Additionally, they hold certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR & AED, and Phlebotomy from the American Red Cross.
