Stefanie Balcerzak

Stefanie Balcerzak is an experienced educator specializing in middle school mathematics and differentiated instruction for diverse student populations. Currently serving as a Middle School Mathematics Teacher at Acero Schools since August 2013, Stefanie develops and executes a rigorous standards-based curriculum while implementing individual growth plans driven by performance data. Additionally, Stefanie tutors 7th and 8th graders in math and reading at Brain Hurricane, focusing on academic goal setting and support for at-risk students. Previously, Stefanie worked as a 3rd Grade Teacher at CICS Longwood and completed an internship as a 1st Grade Teacher at Serena Hills Elementary School. Stefanie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Governors State University and a Bachelor of Science from Illinois State University.
