Brain Injury Association of North Carolina
Angela Leigh Tucker has extensive experience in advocacy for brain injury awareness and education. Currently serving as a member of the Brain Injury Advisory Council for the Brain Injury Association of America since April 2019, Tucker has also been an advocate and brain injury survivor with the Brain Injury Association of North Carolina since October 2008. Previous roles include guest speaking at institutions such as South College and Buncombe County Emergency Management, providing insights on the experiences of brain injury survivors. Tucker’s background includes holding a position as Vice President at Hunter Public Relations and serving on the Board of Directors for the Brain Injury Association of New York State, where Tucker was also Chairwoman. Educational qualifications include a dual major in Advertising/Public Relations and Organizational Communications from the University of Central Florida.
