Tamar Smalbrugge

Tamar Smalbrugge is currently serving as Editor in Chief at Babel Magazine, affiliated with the University of Amsterdam's Humanities department, and will assume the role of (co-)Editor in Chief starting the academic year 2024/2025. In addition to writing for the magazine, Tamar has experience as a Docent at BrainBoost, providing homework guidance and tutoring since December 2022. Previous roles include Content Developer at Deewan Institute for Languages and Cultural Studies and a volunteer position with the Jordan Youth Innovation Forum. Tamar is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Religious Studies at the University of Amsterdam, with prior education including advanced English courses at LAL Language Centres and training at REDUCATIONS Creative Academy.
